March 05, 2025 | Hold City Officials Accountable for DEI Overreach | Opinion Editorial by Creator & CEO, Michiana.TV | INSouthBend.TV | VisitSouthBend.TV
U.S. Attorney Generals must expand their oversight to investigate city officials, especially those aligned with the Biden-Harris administration, whose Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies have done more harm than good. These initiatives have not only drained taxpayer dollars but have also destabilized communities, eroded core values, and weakened economic self-sufficiency.
Instead of fostering unity, DEI-driven policies have created division—alienating hardworking taxpayers and promoting reverse discrimination under the guise of progress. City officials who aggressively push these agendas without accountability should be exposed. If their actions violate fairness and transparency, they must be prosecuted in the public domain of scrutiny.
Americans deserve governance that prioritizes merit, equality, and economic strength—not political experiments that compromise stability. It’s time to hold local leaders accountable before the damage becomes irreversible.

February 28, 2025 | The Case for Financially Self-Sustaining Cities: A Conservative Vision for Growth | Opinion Editorial by Creator & CEO, Michiana.TV | INSouthBend.TV | VisitSouthBend.TV
In cities across America, a stark contrast in leadership philosophies is emerging—one that defines their trajectory either toward self-reliance or perpetual dependency. Conservative leadership champions financial independence, fostering economic resilience through entrepreneurship, job creation, and private-sector-driven innovation. Meanwhile, liberal governance often perpetuates a reliance on federal grants and funding, keeping communities tethered to bureaucratic handouts rather than empowering them to thrive.
The advantages of a city becoming financially self-sustaining cannot be overstated. When a city prioritizes economic independence, it attracts businesses, promotes local investment, and cultivates a tax base that fuels long-term growth. Infrastructure, education, and essential services are sustained through productive economic activity rather than unstable federal aid. This model encourages accountability, as local leaders are compelled to manage resources efficiently rather than depending on Washington to bail them out.
In contrast, cities that cling to federal funding often stagnate under policies that incentivize underachievement, low expectations, and systemic dependency. Liberal governance, with its focus on social programs over economic empowerment, keeps communities reliant on external aid, stifling ambition and discouraging self-sufficiency. Instead of fostering an environment where businesses can flourish and residents can achieve upward mobility, these cities entrench a culture of dependence, reducing incentives for both personal and regional economic growth.
The conservative approach to municipal governance is solution-driven: lower taxes to attract investment, reduce regulatory burdens to spur entrepreneurship, and invest in infrastructure through sustainable revenue generation rather than federal lifelines. By doing so, cities can chart their own course, free from the unpredictability of shifting federal priorities and political bargaining.
For too long, cities have been trapped in a cycle of federal dependency, with liberal leaders content to manage decline rather than inspire progress. It’s time to embrace a vision of self-sustaining growth—one that rewards initiative, encourages responsibility, and ultimately creates a more prosperous future for all citizens.
